About my Classes

As I believe it’s important that yoga is accessible for everyone, I offer  live classes via zoom. It is in these more home orientated  times that making time for yourself to really see and connect with what occurs within you on all levels, is so needed and valuable. It will help you gain insights and empower you to enhance compassion, acceptance and feeling free.

 

In my classes I combine Yin Yoga with mindfulness, meditation, Reiki, Acupressure, Meridian stimulation, Myofascia release techniques, Yoga Nidra and soft “flowy” or more yang like movements. I guide you inside to recharge and release, so that the life energy (Chi) can flow freely again. When the body is healthy and open; your mind finds ease and your spirit can travel freely.

 

Personalised themes

It’s my aim to create personalized classes, suitable for everyone.  Therefore I ask if there are any issues, injuries or requests at the start of each class, so I can build a class attuned to everyone’s needs.  I allow myself then to be inspired by the moment. 😊

 

When I do plan a class ahead of time, I let you know more or less a week prior to the class date. I generally stick to the theme, but I will still adapt it if something else is needed. If you have a specific request or suggestion you can let me know in class or via email.

 

To offer personalized options for poses, I would like to see you during the class. So please leave your camera on, if you feel comfortable with that.

 

Preparation for class

Class starts at 8pm CET, but I am online around 7.50PM. Join me early so we can say hi and check in on any requests or issues. At the end of the class I will leave some time for questions.

 

Make sure you have enough space to practice and have the following props ready for class,  if possible.

  • a mat
  • 1 pair of socks
  • 4 tennis balls
  • a belt
  • a blanket
  • 2 blocks
  • a bolster or pillow
  • If you have a free wall nearby that’s always good in case we need one.

 

Class Recordings

After the live class everyone who signed up will receive access to the downloadable recording for 7 days. So if you can’t make it live, then you can still enjoy the class later. 😊

How it works

Once you have booked your spot and payment has been confirmed (we accept IDEAL, Visa, Mastercard or PayPal) we will email you the zoom link to the chosen class.

 

How a Class Pass works

When you purchase a class pass you essentially get ‘store credit’ which enables you to book any 4 classes of your choice, anytime you want. You will receive an email with a code, and you use this code in checkout when booking your class.

 

PLEASE NOTE that when you purchase a class pass, you have not booked any classes yet. You need to go back to the website, select your class and enter your coupon code in checkout to bypass payment. You will then receive an email with your zoom link to your selected class(es).

Deep dive into SELF care & torso - Yin Yoga Class - Sep 17th

The area of the heart, the gall bladder and the spleen and stomach, which are all related to our basic sense of self. So this class will be about rocking the core/torso with forward bends, backward bends, twisting etc. Really bring attention to everything from the shoulders to the pelvis. To help stimulate these areas Ill use tennis balls (in socks) and place them on certain acupuncture points on the back. I’ll incorporate twists too to help open up the upper back. We will also use a block for the belly and to help open up the belly and the chest.

Turning inwards for a new perspective - Yin Yoga Class - Sep 3rd

Practice some meditative Yin in order to gain insight, digest the situation and determine a new course with renewed energy. We will do Yin poses that release the upper & lower back, shoulders, hips, legs, ankles, toes, fingers and wrists.

Letting Go Of Judgemental Thoughts - Yin Yoga Class - May 21st

Dive deep inside and notice your judgmental thoughts that either might come up during the practice or the thoughts you know you have often about yourself or others. Make it your intention to really become aware of these thoughts and of the effects on you or your environment. Physically we will target the chest, diaphragm, belly and shoulders with various Yin poses, some yang movements and deep diaphragmatic breathing to get rid of stagnations and tensions as an effect of these judgmental thoughts.  

Boost Organs and Feel Lighter in Heart & Mind - Yin Yoga Class - April 30th

To calm our whole being down, we are going to stop – feel and listen. Starting with sitting or lying in silence observing – feeling. Then I will add breath work, use poses and exercises that help you release and stimulate your jaw, belly and bum.
