In this class to focus will be on calm & rest. We will work with the breath and on the rib cage, chest, shoulders and neck to enhance the breath and wind down. This class will also support your immune system. Have some tennis balls and socks near by in case we decide to work with some myofascial release!
I believe it’s important that yoga is accessible for everyone, even in the more challenging times. Because it’s precisely in these challenging times that finding acceptance, peace and flexibility of body and mind is so valuable. It keeps you afloat and connected.
In my classes I combine Yin Yoga with mindfulness, meditation, Reiki, Acupressure, Meridian stimulation, Myofascia release techniques, Yoga Nidra and soft movements.
I guide you inside to recharge and release, so that the life energy (Chi) can flow freely again.
How it works
This class will be live using Zoom. The time of the class is in Amsterdam time so if you are not in central Europe make sure you come at the right time. Once you have registered and paid – you will be given an email with instructions on how to join the Zoom class.
Please make sure you have enough space to practice – and if you have a free wall nearby that’s always good in case we need one. Other props that are handy to have close by: a mat, a bolster or pillow, blocks (or use books instead) and a blanket. And for this class tennis balls and socks too.
Try to arrange it that you have minimal distractions.
