The area of the heart, the gall bladder and the spleen and stomach, which are all related to our basic sense of self. So this class will be about rocking the core/torso with forward bends, backward bends, twisting etc. Really bring attention to everything from the shoulders to the pelvis. To help stimulate these areas Ill use tennis balls (in socks) and place them on certain acupuncture points on the back. I’ll incorporate twists too to help open up the upper back. We will also use a block for the belly and to help open up the belly and the chest. So we are really going to ‘rock the core’ in this class! We will finish with Shavasana.
