Release stress with Lion’s breath

Lion’s breath or Simhasana pranayama is great for releasing tension in the face, jaw and neck. It is best practiced on an empty stomach. This pranayama increases the blood and energy flow into the face which has an energizing and simultaneously softening effect. It is a great way to release anger, worry, frustration or stress, leaving you with positive energy and a calmer nervous system. You can practice this pranayama in any seated position or during poses.
